Privacy Policy

This policy is issued under the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its applicable regulations. The Spanish version (Aviso de privacidad) is the reference text.
1. Data controller

2. Personal data we process
- Contact data you send us by email or messaging: name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
- Client and supplier data, when there is a business relationship: identification and billing data (for example, name or legal name and tax ID) and data needed to provide or receive the service.
- Business messaging data (WhatsApp Business Platform), described in section 5.
- Server technical data: like any web server, the one serving this site may log the IP address, date and requested page, for security and operation purposes.
We do not request sensitive personal data.
3. Purposes
Primary (necessary for our relationship with you): answering inquiries and requests; preparing proposals and providing contracted services; invoicing and collection; complying with legal and tax obligations; handling ARCO rights requests.
Secondary: we do not process your data for our own marketing or advertising without your prior, express consent. If we ever do, we will ask separately and you may refuse without affecting the primary purposes.
4. Transfers and processors
We do not sell personal data. We may share it only with: (a) providers that deliver services we need to operate (for example, hosting, email and the messaging platform described below), which process it on our behalf; and (b) competent authorities, when required by law. Any other transfer requiring your consent will be disclosed and requested beforehand.
5. Business messaging through WhatsApp Business Platform
When Opera Media communicates with you through WhatsApp Business Platform, the service is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, which process data under their own terms and policies.
- Data processed: your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, the content of the messages and files we exchange, date and time, and delivery and read status.
- Purpose: answering inquiries, following up on contracted services and sending notices related to them.
- Consent (opt-in): we will only send messages that we initiate to people who agreed to receive them, for example by requesting it in writing or by messaging us first and asking for that contact. We keep a record of that consent.
- Opt-out: you may stop receiving messages at any time by replying "BAJA" or "STOP" to the message or by writing to the email in section 1. We will honor it and will not send you further messages that we initiate.
- Deletion: you may ask us to delete your number and conversation history by following the data deletion instructions.
6. ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent
You have the right to Access your data, Rectify it, Cancel it and Oppose its processing (ARCO rights), as well as to withdraw your consent and limit the use or disclosure of your data.
To exercise them, send a request to [email protected] including: your name and a way to reply to you; a copy of an official ID (or a power of attorney if acting for someone else); a clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise; and anything that helps us locate your data. We will reply within 20 business days at most and, if the request is upheld, carry it out within 15 business days after our reply.
7. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising tools, or third-party trackers, and does not load fonts or resources from other servers.
8. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized access.
9. Changes to this policy
Any change will be published on this page, with the update date shown above. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
10. Authority
If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may go to the competent personal data protection authority in Mexico.
