Data deletion

How to request it

1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" (or "Solicitud de eliminación de datos").
2. State your name and the identifier you used to contact us (for example, your WhatsApp number or email address), so we can locate your information.
3. Attach a copy of an official ID, to confirm you are the data subject. We use it only to verify your identity.
4. If you wish, say which data you want deleted. If you do not, we will delete everything we are able to delete.

What happens next

We will reply within 20 business days at most and, if the request is upheld, carry it out within 15 business days after that reply. We will confirm through the same channel once it is done.

What is deleted

The contact data, messages and conversation history we hold, including your WhatsApp number. We will also stop sending you messages that we initiate.

What we may keep

Only what the law requires us to keep, for example tax and accounting records of a business relationship. It is blocked, not used for any other purpose and deleted when the legal period ends. If that applies, we will explain it in our reply.

Data on third-party platforms

Meta and other providers process data under their own policies. This request deletes what Opera Media holds; for what the provider holds, use your account controls on that platform.
